TNR June 2nd. Sun, fun and flat

A dozen riders greeted the sun for a quick romp with two groups. One taking a path less traveled the other going longer and faster, faster until the Flat Devil reared up and bit a tube. All said it was fun and best of all....uneventful.

The GB Triathlon is this weekend. If you are not doing it be sure to watch. As an FYI the Door County Triathlon is over 80% full for the sprint and 68% full for the half. The sprint will probably fill this month so I would not delay too much.

There are swimmers braving the open waters locally. We have heard reports about Lake Largo, the bay and Harpts lake. Of course wetsuits are needed and there were several head "freezies" but warmer water is coming. Gregg from Sheboygan reports that Elkart Lake (next week for their Tri) had water at a balmy 61 degrees.

We ride at 5:29 pm next week and I predict 76 degrees and sun. I'll bet a piece of licorice on it. SO2
